AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (14-14) won 6-4 (BOX SCORE)

Kouba got the start for Sugar Land and went 4 innings allowing 2 runs. The offense got things going in the second inning scoring 4 runs on a Bastidas solo HR and Short 3 run HR. They got another run in the 3rd on a Bastidas RBI double. Price added some insurance in the 5th with a solo HR. Murray allowed a couple of runs in relief but Robertson closed it out tossing 2 scoreless as he picked up the save.

Note: Short has a .881 OPS this season.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (6-16) lost 2-0 (BOX SCORE)

Mancini got the start for the Hooks and was really good tossing 5.2 no-hit innings before allowing a single and being pulled. He finished with 5.2 scoreless innings with 5 strikeouts. The offense struggled picking up just 3 hits. Santos tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief before allowing a walk-off 2 run HR in the 9th inning as the Hooks fell 2-0.

Note: Mancini has a 3.79 ERA this season.

A+: Asheville Tourists (8-13) lost 6-4 (BOX SCORE)

Gillis got the start for Asheville and struggled a bit allowing 4 runs, 3 earned, over 3.2 innings. Asheville got on the board in the 6th inning on a Vogel RBI single. The Drive scored a couple more to extend their lead. Asheville rallied getting a run in the 7th on a Whitaker RBI groundout and then 2 runs in the 8th on a wild pitch and Fisher RBI groundout. Guedez allowed 2 runs over the final 4.1 innings but the offense was unable to complete the comeback as Asheville fell 6-4.

Note: Nunez is hitting .316 this season.

A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (11-11) won 6-4 (BOX SCORE)

The Woodpeckers got on the board in the 2nd inning scoring 4 runs on a Holy 3 run triple and Luciano sac fly. Palmer got the start and went 3.2 innings allowing 2 runs, 1 earned. He was relieved by Frias who allowed 2 runs as the Shorebirds tied it up. In the bottom of the 4th the Woodpeckers took the lead on a Spence RBI double. The Woodpeckers got a run in the 8th on an error for some insurance. Ogando closed it out tossing 5 scoreless innings as the Woodpeckers won 6-4.

Note: Holy is hitting .350 this season.
