AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (75-47) lost 6-5 (BOX SCORE)

Gusto got the start for Sugar Land and went 5 innings allowing 3 runs, all in the first, though only one was earned. The offense got on the board in the 4th on a Corona RBI single. Mushinski allowed 3 runs as the Isotopes extended their lead to 6-1. The offense rallied for 4 runs in the 8th on a Hamilton RBI single, Machado sac fly, Amaya RBI single and Hummel RBI single. The pen kept it close but the offense was unable to complete the comeback as Sugar Land fell 6-5.

Note: Montero has a 0.00 ERA in Triple-A.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (42-74) won 6-2 (BOX SCORE)

The Hooks got on the board in the first inning on a Matthews solo HR. They got another in the 2nd inning on an Arocho solo HR. In the 4th, Espinosa added a 2 run HR to make it 4-0. Mancini got the start and went 5 scoreless innings while striking out 3. In the 7th, the offense added 2 more on a Cerny RBI double and Baez sac fly. Fleury closed it out striking out 5 over 4 innings allowing 2 runs as he sealed the 6-2 win.

Note: Mancini has a 1.53 ERA in Double-A.

A+: Asheville Tourists (48-67) lost 5-4 (BOX SCORE)

Asheville got on the board in the first scoring 2 runs on a Carrillo 2 run HR. Nezuh got the start and was solid allowing 1 run over 4.1 innings with 3 strikeouts. They got 2 more runs in the 7th on a Gomez RBI single and another run on an error. Langford struggled in relief allowing 4 runs as the Grasshoppers took the lead in the 8th. The offense went quiet in the 9th as Asheville fell 5-4.

Note: Morton is hitting .308 in High-A.

A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (52-63) lost 8-6 (BOX SCORE)

The Woodpeckers got on the board in the first scoring 2 runs on a Villaroel RBI single and Powell sac fly. They got another run in the 2nd inning on an error. Sanchez and David started off the game with two scoreless innings each. The offense got 2 more in the 5th on a passed ball and a wild pitch. Gonzalez pitched in relief but struggled allowing 5 runs as the Cannon Ballers came back to tie it. The pen allowed 3 more as the Cannon Ballers took an 8-5 lead. The offense got one back in the 9th on a Schiavone RBI double but that was it as the Woodpeckers fell 8-6.
