AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (79-48) won 3-2 (BOX SCORE)

Sugar Land got on the board in the 4th inning on a Hummel RBI single. Gusto got the start and pitched well allowing 1 run over 5 innings while striking out 6. The pen was solid as the game went to extra innings. In the 10th, the Bees got a run to take a lead. In the bottom of the 10th, Sugar Land rallied and walked it off on a Machado 2 run single as Sugar Land won 3-2.

Note: Whitley has a 2.17 ERA this season.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (45-75) won 7-6 (BOX SCORE)

Hicks got the start but struggled allowing 5 runs over 3.2 innings. The Hooks offense got on the board in the 3rd on a Matthews RBI single. They got another run in the 7th on a Baez RBI single. In the 8th, the offense got 2 runs on an Espinosa 2 run HR. Barber tied the game in the 9th on a sac fly to force extra innings. The Drillers scored a run in the 10th to take the lead but the Hooks responded with a run in the 10th on a sac fly to tie it. In the 11th, Barber sent the fans home happy with a walk-off RBI single as the Hooks won 7-6.

Note: Robaina has a 3.60 ERA this season.

A+: Asheville Tourists (48-72) lost 11-9 (BOX SCORE)

Langford got the start but struggled allowing 9 runs, 7 earned, over 3 innings. The offense got on the board in the first on a Guillemette RBI single. They scored 2 more runs int the 2nd inning on Gomez and Janek RBI doubles. Johnson added an RBI single in the 3rd. Molero relieved Langford and allowed 2 runs as the Crawdads took an 11-4 lead. The offense continued to battle back getting a run in the 5th on a Morton RBI single. They got 2 more in the 8th on a wild pitch and Guillemette groundout. In the 9th, Guillemette added 2 runs on a 2 run single but that was it as Asheville fell 11-9.

The Woodpeckers got on the board in the 2nd inning on an Ochoa 3 run HR. David got the start and allowed 3 runs over 1.1 innings. Gonzalez pitched in relief but struggled allowing runs, 3 earned, over 4.1 innings. The offense got one back on a wild pitch in the 8th but the offense was quiet the rest of the way as the Woodpeckers fell 8-4.
