AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (46-44) won 8-5 (BOX SCORE)

Sugar Land got on the board in the 3rd inning on a Singleton 3 run HR. In the 5th, he connected on another homer, this time a 2 run HR. Alexander got the start for Sugar Land and allowed 2 runs over 5 innings. The offense added on in the 6th on a McCormick RBI groundout and a run in the 7th on a Bastidas RBI double.

Note: Singleton has a .873 OPS in Triple-A this season.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (29-56) lost 2-1 (BOX SCORE)

Pecko started for the Hooks and went 4.2 innings allowing 2 runs while striking out 5. The offense finally got on the board in the 8th on a Willits RBI groundout. Urias went the final 4 innings scoreless as the game went to the 9th. In the bottom of the 9th, the Hooks got 2 runners on but failed to score as they fell 2-1.

Note: Urias has a 4.16 ERA this season.

A+: Asheville Tourists (38-47) won 6-3 (BOX SCORE)

Asheville got on the board in the first inning scoring 3 runs on a Nunez 2 run single and Whitaker RBI single. Pinto started for Asheville and went 5 innings allowing 2 runs. The offense added 2 more runs in the 6th on a Whitaker RBI triple and Gomez sac fly. In the 7th, they got another run on a wild pitch. The bullpen allowed 1 run over the final 4 innings as they closed out the 6-3 win.

A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (45-40) won 4-2 (BOX SCORE)

The Woodpeckers got on the board in the first inning scoring a run on an error and a Fisher 2 run HR. Palmer got the start and pitched well tossing 4.1 scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts. The Woodpeckers added another run in the 4th on an error. Ogando went the final 4 innings allowing 2 runs as he closed out the 4-2 win.

Note: Palmer has a 2.14 ERA this season.
