AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (59-34) won 7-5 (BOX SCORE)

Sugar Land got on the board in the first on a Wagner RBI double. In the 4th, Wagner added a solo HR. Gusto got the start and allowed 2 runs over 5.1 innings of work. El Paso took the lead scoring 2 runs in the 8th but the Sugar Land offense would rally in the 9th scoring 5 runs on a bases loaded walk, Bastidas 3 run double and Whitcomb RBI single. The bullpen allowed another run but was able to hold on for the 7-5 win.

Note: Wagner is hitting .311 this season.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (31-56) lost 7-3 (BOX SCORE)

The Hooks got on the board in the first on a Caratini 2 run HR. They got another run in the 3rd on a Melton RBI single. Brown got the start and was great tossing 5 scoreless innings with 8 strikeouts. Guilfoil relieved Brown but struggled allowing 3 runs as the RockHounds tied it and then 4 more in the 10th as the Hooks fell 7-3.

Dombroski started for Asheville and pitched well striking out 6 over 5 scoreless innings. The bullpen allowed a run as Dash went up 1-0. The Asheville offense was quiet on the night picking up just 2 hits as they were shutout in the 1-0 loss.
