AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (51-48) lost 5-1 (BOX SCORE)

Ullola got the start for Sugar Land and went 4 innings allowing 2 runs while striking out 7, though he did walk 5. The offense got on the board in the 5th inning on a Melton sac fly. Weiman allowed a few runs in relief and the offense was quiet the rest of the way as Sugar Land fell 5-1.

Note: Ullola has 96 K in 73.1 innings this season.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (33-61) lost 3-2 (BOX SCORE)

Garcia made a rehab start for the Hooks and tossed 2.1 scoreless innings with 3 strikeouts. The offense got on the board in the 3rd inning on a Cole RBI single. Nezuh pitched in relief and allowed 3 runs over 3 innings of work. The Hooks got one back in the 5th on a Willits RBI single but that was it from the offense as they fell 3-2.

Note: Sullivan has a .969 OPS in Double-A.

A+: Asheville Tourists (40-53) won 5-1 (BOX SCORE)

Asheville got on the board in the first inning on a Gomez RBI double. They got another in the 5th on an Encarnacion solo HR. Tredwell got the start and was great allowing 1 run over 5 innings while striking out 6. The offense got some insurance in the 7th on a Spence 2 run HR and another run in the 8th on an Encarnacion RBI single. Langford and Perez had scoreless outings in relief as Asheville won 5-1.

Note: Tredwell has a 3.55 ERA in High-A.

A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (49-44) lost 5-4 (BOX SCORE)

The Woodpeckers got on the board in the first on a Villarroel sac fly. They got another run in the 3rd on an error. Cruz started for the Woodpeckers and went 4.1 scoreless innings. Smith pitched in relief and allowed 4 runs as the Nationals took the lead. The Woodpeckers got a run in the 7th on a Salas RBI double and then tied it in the 9th on a wild pitch. In the bottom of the 9th, the Nationals walked it off as the Woodpeckers fell 5-4.

Note: Valencia leads the system with 46 SB this season.
