Santos relieved Taylor and allowed 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th. The offense would rally getting a run in the 6th on an error and then 2 runs in the 7th on a Spence RBI double and Bush RBI single. In the 8th, Leach gave up a 3 run HR as the Renegades took a 7-6 lead. The offense was unable to respond as Asheville fell 7-6.
