AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (36-30) lost 20-7 (BOX SCORE)
Sugar Land got a run in the first on a Hummel sac fly. Brown started for Sugar Land but really struggled allowing 9 runs over 2 innings of work. The offense got a run back in the 4th on a Guillorme RBI double and then picked up 5 in the 5th on a Hummel RBI triple, Matthews 2 run HR, Castro solo HR and Narvaez sac fly. The pen struggled allowing another 11 runs as Sugar Land would fall 20-7.

Pecko started for the Hooks and allowed 4 runs, all on a grand slam, in 4 innings of work. Guilfoil allowed 2 runs over 2 innings as the Wind Surge extended their lead. The offense rallied for 3 runs in the 7th on a Willits 2 run double and Sacco RBI single. The pen allowed a few more runs and the offense was quiet the rest of the way as the Hooks fell 9-3.

Santos got the start for Asheville and went 3 innings allowing 3 runs on just 1 hit, though he walked 6. The offense was slow to start but rallied for 4 runs in the 7th scoring 2 runs on a wild pitch and error, and then 2 more runs on a Sullivan RBI single and Janek RBI double to take the lead. Taylor closed it out with a dominant 5 innings as he struck out 6 and didn’t allow a run.
