AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (37-36) lost 4-1 (BOX SCORE)

Ivey got the start for Sugar Land and went 5 innings allowing 3 runs, 2 earned. The offense got on the board in the 4th on a Short sac fly. The pen allowed a run as the Aviators extended their lead. The offense was unable to score again as they fell 4-1.

Note: Matthews is hitting .283 this season.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (22-44) lost 1-0 (BOX SCORE)

Fleury started for the Hooks and tossed 2.2 scoreless innings. After 1.1 scoreless from Rodning, Rodriguez came in and went 4 innings allowing 1 run. Unfortunately the Hooks’ offense was no-hit as they fell in this one 1-0.

Note: Fleury has a 2.02 ERA this season.

A+: Asheville Tourists (30-36) won 3-2 (BOX SCORE)

Janek put Asheville on the board early connecting on a 2 run HR in the first inning. Taylor got the start and went 4.2 innings allowing 2 runs while striking out 4. Asheville took the lead in the 6th on a Brutcher RBI single. Santos closed it out tossing 4 scoreless innings in relief as Asheville won 3-2.

Note: Bush has a .896 OPS this season.

A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (36-31) lost 5-3 (BOX SCORE)

The Woodpeckers got the scoring started scoring 2 runs in the 3rd inning on a Holy RBI single and Hernandez RBI single. David got the start for the Woodpeckers but struggled allowing 5 runs over 3.2 innings. The offense got a run back in the 7th on a Holy sac fly. Rosario and Smith were solid in relief but the offense was quiet the rest of the way as the Woodpeckers fell 5-3.
