Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (17-8) lost 10-1 (BOX SCORE)

Torres got the start and allowed 5 runs over 3 innings of work. He was relieved by Martinez who allowed 2 runs and then Scheetz allowed another two as the Skeeters found themselves in a deep hole. The offense was only able to put up 1 run on the night on a Toro RBI double. Ferrell and Garza had scoreless outings in relief but the offense couldn’t get anything else going.

Note: Ferrell has a 0.00 ERA in 6.2 innings.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (11-16) lost 2-0 (BOX SCORE)

France started for the Hooks and pitched well allowing just 1 run over 5 innings of work. He was relieved by Record who allowed 1 run in his 3 innings of work. Unfortunately the offense really struggled collecting just 4 hits on the night as they were unable to push any runs across the plate.

Note: France has 37 K in 25.2 innings this season.

A+: Asheville Tourists (13-14) lost 10-3 (BOX SCORE)

The Tourists started Cody and he last just 1.2 innings allowing 5 runs, 3 earned. Horrell relieved him and allowed 1 run over 2.1 innings. The Tourists got 1 run back on a McKenna solo HR in the 5th. In the 7th they got another on a Valdez RBI single. Ruppenthal relieved Horrell and allowed 4 runs in his 4 innings of work. McKenna added a sac fly in the 9th but that is all they would get as the Tourists fell 10-3.

Note: McKenna has a .916 OPS with 6 HR, 20 RBI in 25 games this season.

Game 1 – won 7-2 (BOX SCORE)

Plumlee started game one for the Woodpeckers and tossed 4 scoreless innings. The offense got on the board in the second on an Alvarez groundout and Orr sac fly. They would get another run in the 4th on a Whitcomb sac fly. Schroeder relieved Plumlee and went 3 innings allowing 2 runs. The Woodpeckers blew it open in the 6th scoring 4 runs on an Alvarez RBI double and a Whitcomb 3 run HR as they won 7-2.

Game 2 – won 2-1 (BOX SCORE)

Jimenez started game 2 and went 4 innings allowing just 1 run with 5 strikeouts. He was relieved by Jaquez who tossed 2.2 scoreless and Holcomb who retired the last batter of the 7th. The offense was quiet until the bottom of the 7th. Correa led off with a walk and then Ramirez sent them home with a walk-off 2 run HR.
