AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (33-27) lost 9-5 (BOX SCORE)
Sugar Land got on the board in the 2nd inning on a Sacco RBI groundout. Blubaugh started for the Space Cowboys and allowed 4 runs over 5.1 innings. Sugar Land got a run in the 3rd on a passed ball and another in the 4th on a Barber RBI single. In the 5th, Narvaez added an RBI single. Murray allowed 4 runs in the 7th as the River Cats took the lead. The offense got one run back in the 8th on a Bastidas RBI double but that was it as Sugar Land fell 9-5.

Mayer started for Asheville and started well, but ran into some trouble and ended up allowing 5 runs over 4.1 innings. The offense’s lone run came in the 5th on a Nunez bases loaded walk. The pen allowed a few more runs and the offense was quiet the rest of the way as Asheville fell 8-1.
