AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (22-18) won 6-4 (BOX SCORE)
Ivey started for Sugar Land and allowed 4 runs in the first inning but settled down and went 5 innings allowing just those 4 runs. In the bottom of the first, Whitcomb put Sugar Land on the board on a 2 run HR. The offense got 2 more runs in the 3rd on a Bastidas sac fly and Castro RBI single. In the 6th, Whitcomb connected on another 2 run HR to give Sugar Land the lead. The pen locked it down with 4 scoreless innings to close out the win.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (10-24) won 20-14 (BOX SCORE)
The Hooks jumped out to a big lead in the first scoring 6 runs on a Barber solo HR, Ferreras 2 run single, Wrobleski RBI double, Sherwin groundout and a run scoring on a wild pitch. They got another run in the 2nd inning on a Deming RBI double. In the 3rd, the offense got 2 runs on a Wrobleski solo HR and Cole RBI groundout. The Hooks blew it open in the 4th on a Sherwin sac fly and Cole grand slam. Urias got the start and went 4 innings allowing 4 runs, 3 earned. In the 7th, Cole added an RBI double. The offense got 4 more in the 8th on a Barber 2 run triple and Cole 2 run HR. The triple gave Barber the cycle. The pen allowed some runs but the offense did more than enough to win as the Hooks won the opener 20-14.

Asheville got on the board first scoring a run in the 4th inning on a Gomez RBI single. Brito started for the Tourists and pitched really well allowing 2 runs over 5 innings while striking out 12. Bello tossed 3 scoreless innings in relief but the offense was unable to score again as Asheville fell 2-1.
