AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (30-21) lost 11-6 (BOX SCORE)

Ivey started for Sugar Land but struggled going 3.1 innings allowing 5 runs. The offense got on the board in the 3rd inning on a Hamilton solo HR. Sugar Land rallied for 4 runs in the 5th on a Melton RBI double, Matthews 2 run single and a run on a double play. The pen would struggled down the stretch allowing 6 runs as Sugar Land fell 11-6.

Note: Melton has a .855 OPS this season.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (16-29) lost 5-3 (BOX SCORE)

Hooks got on the board first scoring a run in the 2nd inning on an Encarnacion RBI single. Bido got the start and allowed 4 runs over 2.1 innings. The Hooks rallied back for 2 runs in the 7th on an Encarnacion RBI double and Austin RBI single. The pen allowed a run and the offense was quiet the rest of the way as the Hooks fell 5-3.

Note: Santa has a 1.15 ERA this season.

A+: Asheville Tourists (19-27) lost 13-6 (BOX SCORE)

Taylor started for Asheville and tossed 2 scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts. The offense got on the board first scoring 2 runs in the 5th on a Carrillo sac fly and another run on a balk. Santos relieved Taylor but struggled allowing 11 runs, 6 earned, over 2.1 innings. He was relieved by Perez who allowed another 2 runs. In the 7th, Vogel connected on a 2 run single to pick up 2 more for Asheville. Asheville got 2 more runs on a Whitaker sac fly and Nunez RBI double. That was it from the offense though as Asheville fell 13-6.

Note: Nunez is hitting .308 this season.
