AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (23-12) lost 8-6 (BOX SCORE)

Sugar Land got on the board scoring a run in the 3rd inning on a Hummel RBI double. Henley started for the Space Cowboys going 4 innings allowing 2 runs, 1 earned. He was relieved by Diaz who allowed 4 runs in 1 inning and Gaither who allowed 2 more as OKC extended their lead. Sugar Land got 3 runs back in the 7th on a Berryhill 3 run HR. In the 9th, the offense rallied for 2 runs on a Berryhill RBI double and a run scoring on an error but that was it as Sugar Land fell 8-6.

Note: Berryhill has a .826 OPS this season.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (9-20) won 1-0 (BOX SCORE)

Guilfoil started for the Hooks and was great tossing 5.2 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts. The Hooks only run came in the third inning when a run scored on a balk. The bullpen was great tossing 3.1 scoreless innings as they closed out the 1-0 win.

A+: Asheville Tourists (12-16) lost 9-4 (BOX SCORE)

Asheville got on the board in the 2nd inning scoring a run on a Cerny solo HR. Calderon got the start and allowed 3 runs over 3 innings of work. The Dash would eventually extend their lead to 7-1. The offense got 3 runs back in the 7th on a Cerny 2 run double and another run scoring on a wild pitch. Dombroski allowed 4 runs in relief and the offense was unable to get anything else going as Asheville fell 9-4.

Note: Cerny has 5 HR over his last 12 games.

A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (17-12) won 12-11 (BOX SCORE)

After the Mudcats scored 3 runs in the first off Mejia, the Woodpeckers responded with 5 runs in the bottom of the inning on a Carrillo hit by pitch, Jaworsky walk, Sherwin hit by pitch, Casserilla hit by pitch and a run scoring on a double play. Mejia ended up allowing 6 runs over 2.2 innings. The Woodpeckers responded back with 3 runs in the 6th inning on a Jaworsky 2 run double and Sherwin RBI single. After the Mudcats took the lead in the 8th, the Woodpeckers tied it up scoring a run on an error. In the 9th, the Mudcats took the lead again but Santander tied things up with a solo HR in the bottom of the inning. The game went to extra innings and after Mudcats scored one in the 10th, the Woodpeckers walked it off on a 2 run single from Carrillo.
