The Seattle Mariners have brought back one of the most popular promotions in franchise history, celebrating the 30th anniversary of “Buhner Buzz Cut” night in honor of former outfielder Jay Buhner. And one current player was excited to take part. Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh jumped at the chance to be the one current player to get his head buzzed. Buhner was back as well to take part in an event that first started in 1994 but hadn’t been held since 2001. More than 19,000 fans had previously taken part.
