It’s a day many of us thought would never come: The return of Lance McCullers Jr.
We all love a good story. And what a story this could be. The return of Lance McCullers to his former glory after a two-year injury hiatus. Man, am I rooting for this hero of the glorious 2017 playoffs to rediscover his greatness. Maybe he’ll throw 20 some curves in a row just for old times sake. Lance and Jose are the only ones left.
Speaking of greatness, what did Jake Meyers have for breakfast yesterday? Two homers, four extra base hits, a single shy of the cycle. There was no way for him to hit a mere single yesterday the way he was smashing baseballs. I was hoping he’d get one more at bat and bunt his way on.
