Braden Halladay has thrown a first pitch at the same ballpark where his father, Roy Halladay, made history with a playoff no-hitter. Roy Halladay, a future Hall of Famer, already had achieved a perfect game for the Phillies in May 2010. Braden and his brother, Ryan shared memories of their father eight years after his tragic death. They received a warm ovation Monday night during a tribute on the 15th anniversary of Roy’s iconic no-hitter in October 2010. Braden, who pitched at Penn State, now aims for a career in baseball’s front office. He recently interned with the Texas Rangers and is exploring future opportunities.
