Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski has left his highly anticipated major league debut with leg cramps after holding the St. Louis Cardinals hitless through five innings. The 6-foot-7 Misiorowski had just thrown a third straight ball to Victor Scott to open the sixth when his foot landed awkwardly and he slipped on the front part of the mound. After Brewers medical staff went out to check on him, Misiorowski exited the game. The flamethrowing right-hander finished with five strikeouts. Nick Mears got three outs in the sixth, but Willson Contreras singled against Aaron Ashby leading off the seventh for St. Louis’ first hit. The Brewers later said Misiorowski left due to cramping in his right calf and quadriceps.
