1966 – Home attendance record
With fans scattering into the stadium to see the Los Angeles Dodgers and Sandy Koufax take on the Houston Astros in front of a record 55,908 fans. Koufax led his Dodgers to a 5-2 win, but not everyone was fazed by his pitching, with Jim Wynn going 4-for-4 with two doubles and a homer.
1993 – Everything but a triple
During a 5-1 win over the Dodgers, Astros infielder Jeff Bagwell does everything he can but hit a triple, hitting a single, double and homer, scoring twice, driving in two and stealing home. Despite all this, all of the Astros five runs were unearned.
2002 – Honoring Darryl Kile
Following the death of their teammate Darryl Kile, who passed earlier on the 22nd from a heart attack, Craig Biggio, Brad Ausmus and Jeff Bagwell all decided to sit out their game against the Seattle Mariners. The team wins in his memory, with Bagwell hitting a game-winning RBI in the 12th inning.

The Toronto Blue Jays announce a 75-game suspension being put on closer Roberto Osuna, retroactive to May 8th, for his arrest on charges of domestic violence. This is the second-longest suspension handed out for this type of action.
