2006 – Bagwell gets yet another surgery
With bone spurs in his aching right shoulder, Astros first baseman Jeff Bagwell announced he may have to undergo what he calls a “last resort” surgery in order to try and save his career. After a $15.6 million dollar insurance claim the past offseason, Bagwell goes on the disabled list and two days later, his claim is denied but the Astros say litigation is likely.
