1969 – Astros come back to win
Down 6-1 heading into the eighth inning, the Houston Astros came back with three runs in the eighth and three more in the ninth to get the 7-6 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on the road. Astros catcher Johnny Edwards delivered the final blow with a two-run single, which ended up being the decisive runs.
2004 – Biggio No. 2500
With a leadoff single to kick things off, Craig Biggio collects his 2,500th hit in his career, becoming the first player in franchise history to hit that mark. That hit sparked what ended up being a 3-4 day for Biggio, including two solo-shots, in a game that the Astros’ bullpen blew, leading to a 5-4 loss in 10 to the Atlanta Braves
