Toronto rookie Trey Yesavage set a franchise postseason record by striking out 11 batters in 5 1/3 no-hit innings Sunday, helping the Blue Jays beat the New York Yankees 13-7 for a 2-0 lead in the ALDS. Left-hander Justin Bruihl came on to face Trent Grisham after Yesavage threw 78 pitches, 48 for strikes. Toronto led 12-0 when he left thanks to four home runs, including Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s grand slam. Bruihl retired Grisham on a grounder before Aaron Judge reached on an infield single for New York’s first hit. Yesvage was selected by Toronto with the No. 20 pick last year in the amateur draft. The 22-year-old right-hander was 1-0 in three September starts for Toronto.
