Aggies continue to load up in 2026 recruiting class
Mike Elko and his Texas A&M recruiting staff have been on an absolute roll this month, and it continued on Saturday as they got a verbal commitment from elite edge recruit Tristan Givens from Columbus, GA.

Givens is listed at 6’3.5” and 215 pounds, and ranked as the No. 61 recruit nationally, the No. 6 player in Georgia and the No. 7 edge rusher. He chose the Aggies over Tennessee and Washington.
In the past 10 days alone, the Aggies have gotten commitments from 4-star safety Chance Collins, 3-star athlete Kaeden Johnson, 4-star OL Samuel Rosenborough, 4-star RB K.J. Edwards, 5-star CB Brandon Arrington and now Givens. It’s seen their total commit list rise to 19 players thus far in the 2026 recruiting class, which is now ranked No. 2 in the country behind only USC.
