Aggies’ 2026 recruiting class keeps getting better
The 2026 recruiting class is Mike Elko’s second full recruiting cycle as the Aggies’ head coach, and he and his staff are turning head with their work on the trail. Less than a month after getting a pledge from elite RB K.J. Edwards, Texas A&M got another commitment from his Carthage HS teammate, four-star LB DaQuives Beck.

Beck is listed at 6’ and 215 pounds, and is ranked as the No. 198 player in the country, the No. 11 LB and the No. 25 player in Texas, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He chose the Aggies over offers from Baylor, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, among many others.
A&M’s 2026 recruiting class now 22 commits, 19 of which are blue chip recruits, and is ranked No. 4 in the country. And with the names being thrown around as potential additions in the coming days and weeks, the Aggies are unlikely to leave the top 5 of these rankings any time soon.
