Watkins is ranked as the No. 350 recruit in the country, the No. 29 safety and the No. 8 player in South Carolina. He chose A&M over offers from South Carolina, Georgia, Miami and Alabama, among many others.
A&M’s 2026 class now stands at 25 commits, 22 of which are blue chip recruits. The class is ranked No. 3 nationally,
