
Too many TEs? No such thing.
It’s only July, but Texas A&M appears to be putting the finishing touches on their 2026 recruiting class, and they added yet another piece on Friday with the commitment of four-star TE Evan Jacobson.

Jacobson chose the Ags over Iowa State, Notre Dame and Stanford, and is currently ranked as the No. 242 recruit in the country, the No. 12 TE and the No. 2 player in his home state of Iowa. He is the third TE commit in this class for A&M, joining fellow four-star recruits Caleb Tafua and Kaeden Johnson.
The Aggies now stand at 27 commits in their 2026 recruiting class, which is currently ranked No. 3 nationally behind Georgia and USC.
