If the name Arrington sounds familiar, it’s likely because Brandon is the son of former NFL linebacker LaVar Arrington, who played seven seasons for the Redskins and Giants and made three Pro Bowls.
Brandon is ranked by the 247 Sports composite rankings as the No. 10 player in the country, the No. 1 athlete and the No. 1 player in California. He represents a growing Golden State pipeline for Mike Elko and the Aggies, joining edge Samu Moala, WR Madden Williams and TE Caleb Tafua in the 2026 class and CB Adonyss Currie, LB Noah Mikhail and edge Marco Jones in the 2025 class.
A&M now has a total of 18 commits in their 2026 recruiting class, with Arrington becoming the highest-rated among them. The class is currently ranked No. 2 in the country, trailing only Souther Cal.
