Big 12 Week Six Winners: Who’s Poised To Dominate?

October 2, 2025 by Last Word On College Football

The Big 12 week five winners were one collective push. Both against the spread and totals went 4-4. Moneyline picks were on the right side at 6-2. But even the locks split down the middle at 1-1. All that matters for the Big 12 week six winners is, as all coaches would say, is to go 1-0. In our case, 3-0 in each game. All lines are courtesy of FanDuel.

Season Results
Moneyline: 47-10
Against The Spread: 29-19
Totals: 21-27
Locks: 3-2

Big 12 Week Six Winners: Who’s Poised To Dominate?

West Virginia At BYU (-18.5)

This is a rough spot for West Virginia. They have to travel two time zones west on a Friday and play a BYU team built very similarly to the Utah team that just dusted them on their home turf. No, Bear Bachmeier isn’t Devon Dampier. But Utah ran for 242 yards against West Virginia. There is no reason to think LJ Martin and company can’t do the same thing. Expect a bludgeoning in Provo that will take West Virginia fans into the early parts of Saturday morning if they can brave this massacre.
Moneyline: BYU ATS: BYU Total 47.5: Under

#14 Iowa State (+1.5) At Cincinnati

This is by far the strangest-looking line amongst the Big 12 week six winners. The line opened with the Bearcats as a 2.5-point favorite. It has come down to a point, but the undefeated Cyclones are still not getting respect from Vegas. Cincinnati has only one notable win, which came in a shootout last week against Kansas. This will be a tough road test for Matt Campbell’s squad. But they already have three wins over P4 opponents this season. The Cyclones are more battle-tested than the Bearcats at this point. Iowa State survives this higher-scoring game with the final score being 35-31.
Moneyline: Iowa State ATS: Iowa State Total 55.5: Over

Kansas State (+6.5) At Baylor

Both of these defenses are closely associated with Pepe Le Pew. Baylor is 16th and Kansas State is 13th in terms of points allowed in the Big 12. The Wildcats did show some good signs of life last week in a win over UCF. The Baylor offense has been great all season. In a shootout in which both defenses struggle, Last Word will take Kansas State to keep it close, but Baylor wins on a last-second field goal to the tune of 48-45.
Moneyline: Baylor ATS: Kansas State Total 61.5: Over

Oklahoma State (+20.5) At Arizona

The Cowboys showed some fight last week against Baylor. The Bears ultimately pulled away down the stretch, but there is still some life remaining in this team. Arizona should win this game easily. Even if Oklahoma State remains close on the scoreboard in the second half, they won’t seriously threaten to win this game. But getting almost three touchdowns is to pass up. Arizona also might be peaking ahead to BYU next week, so the Cowboys will do just enough to lose by no more than 20.
Moneyline: Arizona ATS: Oklahoma State Total 55.5: Over

#11 Texas Tech (-10.5) At Houston

The Big 12 week six winners have a battle of the unbeatens squaring off on Saturday night. Houston is looking to rebound after avoiding disaster against Oregon State last week. But if the Red Raiders jump out quickly on Houston, this one won’t be close.
Moneyline: Texas Tech ATS: Texas Tech Total 51.5: Under

Colorado At TCU (-13.5)

Sonny Dykes’ team has run very hot and cold at different points against P4 competition so far. Colorado hasn’t done anything to suggest that it can threaten a Horned Frog team coming off a gut-wrenching loss to Arizona State. The TCU offense will bounce back with a terrific performance. TCU will win this one comfortably, scoring a significant number of points.

Kansas (-4.5) At UCF

The Big 12 week six winners lock of the week will be carried by Jalon Daniels and the Kansas Jayhawks. The Knights don’t have a data point to suggest that they are a good football team. Their blowout win over the Tar Heels appears to say more about how bad the Tar Heels are than anything. Scott Frost’s team isn’t equipped to score enough points to keep up with Lance Leipold’s offense. The Bounce house, under the lights, is a tough venue to play. Kansas should be able to win this game by at least a touchdown.
Moneyline: Kansas ATS: Kansas Total 54.5: Under
