Gig ‘em, Shemar!
Texas A&M has their first 1st Round pick since 2022 and only their second 1st rounder since Myles Garrett was taken No. 1 overall in 2017, as DE Shemar Stewart was taken with the 17th overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night.

Stewart was a five-star recruit in the Aggies’ now-somewhat-infamous 2022 recruiting class, and despite starting for the majority of his time in Aggieland, left with only 4.5 career sacks. But standout performances at both the Senior Bowl and the NFL Scouting Combine saw him rocket up draft boards thanks to his elite physical traits.
A&M may have two more defensive linemen taken on day two of the NFL Draft, as DE Nic Scourton and DT Shemar Turner await their draft fate.
