Aggies’ dream season comes to an end in Omaha
Texas A&M had an outstanding run in 2022, winning two games in Omaha and advancing to the “final four” of the College World Series for the first time in program history. But unfortunately that’s where the story ends for this season, as the Aggies fell to the Oklahoma Sooners for the second time in six days to end their season.

Ultimately only one team gets to end their run in Omaha with a win, and despite the disappointment, it’s hard to have anything other than excitement and optimism about both this season and the future of Texas A&M baseball. Having the best season in program history in Jim Schlossnagle’s first year at the helm will do that. Here’s to seeing this team make another deep postseason run again very soon.
