
Both the men’s and women’s squads finished their indoor season on a high note
Both the Texas A&M Men’s and Women’s Track Squads finished the 2025 season in the top ten at the NCAA Indoor Championships. The Men’s squad closed out the year tied for tenth place while the women finished alone in seventh place. See the full results here.
For the women, it was Jaiya Covington who headlined the meet. Covington won a national title in the 60m hurdles by 0.01 seconds. The victory marks the first national title by any Aggie in the event.

Her time of 7.90 seconds also marks a school record – a record she previously held with a time of 7.94 from the prelims on Friday.
On the men’s side of things, it was Auhmad Robinson finishing third in the 400m who led the way for the Maroon and White. Antonie Nortje also secured points for the men in the 400m with a seventh-place finish.

Nine Aggies in total secured First Team All-America honors while another six earned Second Team honors.
Now attention turns to the outdoor season for track and field. The season begins on Friday with the UTSA Invitational in San Antonio.
