Compiling the best prospects at the Texans’ positions of need.
Print it out, pin to your fridge, or take it to work with you.
The Texans enter the 2025 Draft with relatively few needs, but the ones they do have are pressing concerns. So rather than including dozens of players Houston won’t draft, I’ve built a Houston Texans’ Big Board of the top prospects only from their positions of need. Those positions are wide receiver, offensive line, and defensive tackle… with tight end and running back as secondary concerns.
The original plan was to keep the list to a clean and round 50 prospects, but lord have mercy if I can’t restrain myself from mentioning eight more players if given the chance.
Obviously, Ashton Jeanty won’t be around at pick 25, so I’ve broken this list into tiers to illustrate where the talent gaps exist. Tier 1 prospects are all out of reach, but Houston should land at least three total picks from Tiers 2 and 3 throughout the draft.
Quick note! I will be updating this Big Board LIVE in a separate article throughout the draft, so come back here to follow along as Houston makes their picks.
In parenthesis is each prospect’s class, height, and weight.
