The Texans added another great player to their secondary.
General Manager Nick Caserio added standout safety Chauncey Gardner-Johnson from the Eagles via trade, which included sending former first-round left guard Kenyon Green to Philadelphia.
A rare player for player trade that could benefit both sides. Philadelphia is known for their offensive line talent, which is led by offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland, and that is likely the best landing spot possible for Green, who is looking to reach the potential that allowed him to be drafted fifteenth-overall in the 2022 NFL Draft.
While Houston adds another extremely talented, high energy player to their already impressive secondary.

Gardner-Johnson is the type of player that is not only productive on the field, intercepting thirteen passes throughout the past three years, but is also someone that you can count on to bring energy into the defense each and every week.
Green could end up working out for the Eagles, but regardless, this is a homerun move by the Houston Texans front office.
