Houston Texans Officially Sign 13 Players to the Practice Squad

An up-to-date tracker of the Houston Texans’ practice squad moves

By 12:00PM EDT yesterday afternoon, the initial waiver period of the 2024 NFL Season ended, allowing the Houston Texans to begin signing players to their practice squad. As of Thursday, August 29, the Houston Texans have signed 12 players to their practice squad:


They include:

OFFENSE:

T: Cameron Erving, David Sharpe, Kilian Zierer

RB: J.J. Taylor

FB: Troy Hairston

WR: Johnny Johnson III, Xavier Johnson

DEFENSE:

DT: Marcus Harris (Woo!)

DE: Solomon Byrd, Malik Fisher

LB: Max Tooley, Ezekiel Turner

CB: D’Angelo Ross

NOTE: The Houston Texans currently have four spots remaining on their practice squad.

International Player Pathway Program:
