Houston Texans players are excited for 2025

So Back!

With the offseason programs officially underway, Houston Texans players are back in the building and fired up for the future. With a mix of new faces, returning free agents and established veterans, the roster seems to have an electric mix of personality and talent.

One of the players who’s drawing a lot of the spotlight is new safety Super Bowl winner champion CJ Gardner-Johnson. The former Philadelphia Eagles’ Texas-sized personality and wit are a great fit for the Demeco Ryans led Texans.

CJ Gardner-Johnson

If you fill the room up with winners, I think you gonna get what you want.

The lightning-rod player went on to praise the coaching and culture of the Texans.

Not that long ago, the word “culture” in H-Town ball conjured visions of Grimma Wormtongue. Now, it makes you think of Ryans, C.J. Stroud, Nico Collins, Derek Stingley Jr. and the rest of the pro bowl caliber coaches and players on this roster.

Speaking of culture, left tackle Cam Robinson speaks into it more than once on why he chose to sign with Houston.

The excitement Will Anderson Jr. brings to the podium when talking about the return of Sheldon Rankins is, hopefully, a snapshot of the energy and “juice” the 2025 defensive line will bring to the field when the season kicks off.

WAJ on being reunited with Sheldon Rankins:

“We’re so back bro. That’s my dog.”

Underrated signing. (And I’m going to use the “so back” clip a TON ) pic.twitter.com/L1mUMaqsZ4

And, for those fixated on the 2025 NFL draft, starting tomorrow evening, the man himself, head coach Demeco Ryans, shows just where all this energy and excitement flows from. As goes the leader, so goes the team.

DeMeco Ryans on the 2025 NFL Draft & the unpredictably of it:

Demeco Ryans

Hold your seat and watch out!

The Houston Texans are back, baby.

So Back!
