Houston Texans left tackle Laremy Tunsil is about to get paid…again.
The three-time Pro Bowler has agreed to a new three-year, $75 million contract with $50 million fully guaranteed and $60 million in total guarantees, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Tunsil previously signed a three-year, $66 million deal with $57.85 guaranteed in April 2020. This is the second time the 28-year-old star has reset the offensive line market, and he’s drawing well-deserved praise for it from football media.
“Tunsil continues a remarkable rebound after surviving an attempted career assassination thanks to the NCAA,” said Split Zone Duo’s Steven Godfrey.

“Laremy Tunsil is very good at football but a first-ballot Hall of Famer alongside Darrelle Revis, Kirk Cousins, and Chase Daniel at getting paid. Gotta respect it,” said ESPN’s Bill Barnwell.

“Tunsil has re-set the Market TWICE and it’s not even close. LT is elevating the business part of the game for the OL,” said Duke Manyweather of OL Masterminds.

“He’s just 28! Go ahead and count this year as done. If he keeps playing well, He’s gonna be back at the table for another deal just like this, in 2 years. Eat, big fella,” said former NFL offensive tackle George Foster.

After injuries limited him to only five games in 2021, Tunsil returned to start all 17 contests for Houston in 2022.
Now, his stellar play is being rewarded with a well-deserved payday.
