Who doesn’t love the NFL? Every week brings unique games and performances. We saw several backup quarterbacks take the field this week, from Shadeur Sanders to Jameis Winston to Mason Rudolph and others. Division races continue to get tighter, and the margin of error gets thinner. Let’s recap Week 12!
Week 12 Takeaways from Sunday NFL Action
NFC East

Dallas Cowboys – The Cowboys come back from 21 down to beat the Eagles on a Brandon Aubrey game-winning field goal as the clock strikes zero. George Pickens continues to thrive in his new digs and racked up nearly 150 receiving yards and a touchdown to help keep Dallas in the mix for a Wild Card spot.
Philadelphia Eagles – Philly let one slip away in a division road game against Dallas. Two lost fumbles and a missed field goal in the fourth quarter contributed to the loss in a scoreless second half. The Eagles are still in control of the division, but they hope this will not come back to bite them later.
New York Giants – We got a classic Jameis Winston game where he threw for over 300 yards, threw two touchdowns, and caught a touchdown. However, it was not enough as the Giants fell to the Lions in overtime 34-27.
