NFL Power Rankings Entering Week 6

October 9, 2025 by Last Word On Pro Football

As Week 6 approaches, here’s where every team stands in our updated power rankings.

Week 6 NFL Power Rankings

32. Tennessee Titans (1- 4)

The Titans look putrid again on Sunday, but a few lucky bounces & they found themselves in the winning column in week 5

31. Miami Dolphins (1-4)

The Fins got gashed on the ground in Week 5 for over 200 yards. It doesn’t get any easier with the Chargers coming to town this week.

30. Carolina Panthers (2-3)

Rico carries this Panthers team on his back in Week 5 to their second win of the season. If this team wants to win more games, they may want to consider giving more touches to Dowdle.

29. New York Giants (1-4)

The Giants were brought back down to reality in Week 5 as they gave the Saints their first win of the season. Someone on this offense is going to have to step up if this team wants to keep it close versus the Eagles on Thursday Night Football.

28. New York Jets (0-5)

The Jets may be the worst team in the league to most, but I still say they are better roster-wise than their record reflects. If they can start playing complete football in all four quarters, they’ll win some games moving forward.

27. New Orleans Saints (1-4)

The Saints host another home game versus an East Coast team as the New England Patriots head to town. If the crowd can stay in the game and the Saints keep it close going into the fourth quarter, they may be able to pull the upset.

26. Cleveland Browns(1-4)

The Browns were a few defensive plays away from beating the Vikings in Week 5, but ultimately came up short. With the trade of Joe Flacco, there should be a Sanders sighting at quarterback in the near future.

25. Las Vegas Raiders (1-4)

The Raiders got rocked in Indianapolis in Week 5, but have a rebound game against the Tennessee Titans, who somehow found themselves in the win column in Week 5.

24. Arizona Cardinals (2-3)

The Cardinals look like the Titans. Three straight games losing on GW field goals is terrible luck, but in reality, when you don’t get your stars involved, it’s hard to win games in the NFL.

23. Houston Texans (2-3)

The Texans put it on the Ravens in Week 5 in Baltimore. It seemed to me as some redemption for losing to the Ravens in Houston on Christmas Day last season. Stroud looked great; let’s see if this team can carry this momentum into week 7 after their week 6 bye.

22. Cincinnati Bengals (2-3)

The Bengals finally made a move for a quarterback. Not positive it’s going to turn into wins for Joe Flacco and company, but he’s a veteran, and this cast of characters will be the best on offense he’s ever played with.

21. Minnesota Vikings (3-2)

The Vikings snuck out a win against the Browns in week 5. An early bye week is just what this team needs.

20. Dallas Cowboys (2-2-1)

Dallas beat down the Jets in New York, and that run game looked dominant. In Week 6, they travel to Carolina.

19. Baltimore Ravens (1-4)

The Ravens got embarrassed on their home field on Sunday. Week 6 brings the Rams, who also got embarrassed in Week 5. We’ll see who shows up in week 6.

18. Chicago Bears (2-2)

Coming off a bye, the Bears get revenge in Week 6 in Washington, DC, against the team that beat them on a Hail Mary last season.

17. Washington Commanders (3-2)

Not sure who picked the Commanders to win on Sunday, but man, were they impressive. The Bears roll into town for a Monday night matchup in Week 6.

16. Atlanta Falcons (2-2)

Coming off a bye week doesn’t get much easier for the Falcons heading into Week 6. An angry Buffalo team is heading to town for a Monday night matchup.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1)

The Steelers get a divisional matchup at home against the Browns in Week 6. While they are well-rested, the Browns are traveling from overseas.

14. San Francisco 49ers (4-1)

While everyone counted this team out in Week 5, they showed the world that they don’t care what you think. After pulling off the upset with an injury-depleted team, they head across the country to Tampa on Sunday.

13. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-1)

The Jags followed up their huge win in Week 4 against San Francisco just to take out the Chiefs in Jacksonville a week later on Monday Night Football. Duval.

12. New England Patriots (3-2)

The Patriots are back! Huge win for Vrabel and company. Diggs looked like Prime Diggs, and Maye should be thrown into the MVP conversation.

11. Seattle Seahawks (3-2)

The Seahawks lost a heartbreaker to the Bucs on Sunday. That defense needs to regroup for their matchup against the red-hot Jags in Jacksonville on Sunday.

10. Los Angeles Chargers (3-2)

The Chargers come off another loss, losing the last two games. After Week 3, the Chargers appeared to be a Super Bowl team, but they have since looked lost.

9. Kansas City Chiefs (2-3)

Andy Reid will get his team to rebound. Although unfamiliar territory for the Chiefs, being below 500 in the win column, don’t be surprised if they get back on track against the dangerous Lions team in Week 6.

8. Green Bay Packers (2-1-1)

The Packers had a whole week off to reflect on their stunning tie in Week 4 against the Cowboys. Joe Flacco and the Bengals come to town in Week 6, desperately looking for a win.

7. Indianapolis Colts (4-1)

The Colts ran over the Raiders on Sunday, 40-6. The Cardinals march into town, coming off an embarrassing loss. If Kylers is healthy enough to play, I think they keep it close.

6. Philadelphia Eagles(4-1)

I said it last week, I am not sold on the Eagles’ record or offensive play. Barkley is now on the injury report with a sore knee, and AJB looks more and more frustrated each week.

5. LA Rams (3-2)

LA travels across the country to face the lousy Ravens in Week 6. It could be a trap game for LA if they don’t come prepared.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-1)

The Bucs got a huge game out of Baker on Sunday in Seattle. Easily the game of the week, & now travel back home to take on the 49ers.

3. Denver Broncos (3-2)

Don’t look now, but the Denver Broncos are rolling.

2. Detroit Lions (4-1)

The Lions once again put up a 30-burger on Sunday. A Week 6 road matchup awaits them against the Kansas City Chiefs.

1. Buffalo Bills (4-1)

A pissed-off Bills team heads down to Atlanta for a Monday Night matchup under the lights in the dome, looking for revenge after losing to division rival New England in Week 5.
