New faces taking this team to new places
This off-season has seen Houston Texans general manager Nick Caserio bring in former Minnesota Vikings all-pro EDGE Danielle Hunter, star Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon, Buffalo Bills pro bowl receiver Stefon Diggs, former Tennessee Titans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair and Atlanta Falcon cornerback Jeff Okudah among others.
In April’s NFL Draft, Caserio picked Georgia Bulldog cornerback Kamari Lassiter, Notre Dame OT Blake Fisher and USC Trojan safety Calen Bullock.
Lots of new faces. To say the Texans improved their roster appears to be an understatement. And the 2023 roster did alright, right?
Hunter paired with last year’s star rookie EDGE Will Anderson Jr. should strike fear in the other AFC South quarterbacks.

Joe Mixon sharing a backfield with former rookie standout Dameon Pierce should make the rival defenses concerned as well.
It’s not like Mixon hasn’t proven time and again he will gash a defense every chance he gets.

And, C.J. Stroud throwing passes to Stefon Diggs is like a Madden cheat code IRL.
Diggs automatically improves the odds of Nico Collins and Tank Dell racking up yards, first downs and touchdowns. There’s no way a defensive coordinator can properly scheme for all 3 wideouts. And, even if they could, tight ends Dalton Schultz, Brevin Jordan and Cade Stover would make them regret it.
Don’t forget the newly remodeled Texans secondary, featuring Derek Stingley Jr., Lassiter, Okudah, Jimmie Ward, Jalen Pitre and Bullock. Every one of them should hear their name called in highlight reels this season.

That all brings us to today’s question:
Who did you pick? And why?
