Predicting the production of Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz.
Dalton Schulz signed a one-year deal with the Houston Texans last offseason to prove what he can do, and position himself to land a long-term deal the following offseason.
Schultz accomplished that and more throughout his first year with the Texans. Schultz and Stroud developed chemistry on the field from day one, and provided a consistent veteran presence, something the Texans needed.
The former Dallas Cowboys tight end caught 59 passes for 635 yards and five touchdowns in 15 regular season games, and had an incredible long touchdown in the playoffs against the Cleveland Browns.

Schultz was re-signed by the Texans earlier this offseason to a three-year $36M contract extension, keeping the playmaking tight end in Houston throughout the 2026 season.
The Texans have a very solid tight end room that also includes Brevin Jordan, who flashed numerous times last season, along with fourth-round pick out of Ohio State, Cade Stover. Schultz is going to be the unquestioned starter, but the other two could definitely work their way into more playing time.
PRODUCTION PREDICTION: 60 RECEPTIONS / 700 YARDS / 6 TOUCHDOWNS
Schultz was extremely impactful for Houston in 2023, and he should have even more opportunities to strive in year two of offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik’s offense, along with year two of Stroud.
