The Houston Texans parted ways with offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik on Friday after he piloted what many considered one of the more disappointing offensive units in 2024.
The firing makes for DeMeco Ryans’ first coordinator search as head coach of the Texans since he took the job in the spring of 2023.
There’s speculation as to who Houston may target, including internal candidate quarterback coach Jerrod Johnson and a host of outside options with relationships to either Ryans, general manager Nick Caserio or quarterback C.J. Stroud.
