Your Houston Texans are asking for volunteer help in serving the community on Saturday, May 22nd, 2021. Here’s the deets straight from the team:

The Houston community has faced incredible hardship this past year – let’s give back together, however and wherever we can! Join us for Texans Care Volunteer Day presented by Chevron where you will volunteer alongside Texans Legends, Cheerleaders, TORO, staff members and other fans in locations throughout this great city!
All in-person volunteer sites allow for proper social distancing, but if you do not feel comfortable joining us – no problem! We have created other ways you can give back on May 22 from your car or at home.

Please note: Children 6+ may volunteer at the Houston Food Bank. All other locations require volunteers to be 16+. Thank you!
Boys & Girls Club of Greater Houston

Brighten the day of youth in our community! Volunteers will help distribute much needed food items to surrounding community members through the Chevron Market Pantry.
Houston Food Bank
8 or 8:45-11 AM | 535 Portwall St. Houston, TX 77029 presented by BMW
Help feed Houston families! Volunteers will sort, pack, clean and/or repackage food for distribution. In 2020, the HFB hosted 88,061 volunteers, which provided 159 million meals for the hungry.
Hermann Park

Build a safe space for Houston’s dogs! Volunteers will do prep work ahead of the new dog park being built on Hermann Park’s grounds to provide a healthier environment for our community canines.
YMCA Camp Cinco

Prep the grounds before kids return for summer camp! Volunteers will participate in projects like mulching, removing debris from trails, power washing and cleaning structures.
Give Back from Your Car or at Home!
United Way of Greater Houston
8-11 AM on May 22 | 50 Waugh Dr., Houston, TX 77007 presented by Apache
United Way has created a way for you to volunteer right from your car! When you sign-up for this location, volunteers are asked to create – with their own supplies – supply kits for communities in need and drop them off at the United Way main office. Prior to the project, volunteers will receive instructions, suggested shopping list, and tips for their donation kits.

We want to see all of the great things Texans fans are doing for the community. Whether you donate blood, a meal or special treat to first responders, write uplifting cards to elderly in retirement homes, make a donation to your favorite non-profit etc. Use #TexansCare on May 22 to show us how you have given back to be featured on Texans social.
