Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta, general manager Rafael Stone and head coach Ime Udoka recently held an event at the Post Oak Hotel with local and national brands to discuss the jersey patch sponsorship opportunity. The Rockets are not currently in negotiations with any particular company for a new deal. Sheirr declined to say whether the team had a financial value in mind for the new deal, but she described the jersey patch sponsorship as one of the largest partnership assets in sports, second only to venue naming rights.
