FanDuel “No Sweat SGP Weekend” for Rockets vs Warriors

April 21, 2025 by The Dream Shake

NBA: Houston Rockets at Golden State Warriors

The Rockets are not favored to win this series, but you could be favored to win some cash.

What could possibly be better than the Houston Rockets beating their long-time nemesis and torturer the Golden State Warriors in their first playoff series since 2020? How about winning some extra cash at the same time? FanDuel is offering Rockets fans who live where sports betting is legal (sorry Texas) a chance to do just that with their “No Sweat SGP Token” available to every customer during the playoffs every weekend.

I’ve reviewed many of the possible combinations of SGPs (Same Game Parlays) and here are some of my favorite bets that you can parlay up to 3 legs with your “No Sweat Token”. If you win, I’ll take 40 percent… if you lose, I don’t know you bro. (This is not betting advice.)

Jabari Smith Jr. Wagers

Jabari Smith to score 15+ Points (+350), Jabari Smith to make 2+ Threes (+112), Jabari Smith to record 8+ rebounds (+154)

I like these bets for Jabari Smith Jr. for many reasons. Starting with the fact that in his last five games vs the Warriors, whether he started or came off the bench he has scored 15+ points four times, scoring over 20 points in two of them. In his most recent game versus the Warriors he scored 15 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and made 2-of-5 from three-point territory. In four of the last five games vs the Warriors he has made two or more three pointers. He has made at least one in all of them.

The rebounding bet is the riskiest of the three bets since he has only grabbed more than seven rebounds in a game vs the Warriors once this season, in the aforementioned contest on April 6th. Jabari has been rebounding the ball very well of late and the Warriors are not a great rebounding team due to the fact that they play so small. If I live somewhere outside of Texas, I wouldn’t feel terrible about adding any one of these to my SGP.

First Basket Scored for the Rockets & Warriors

Everyone on this list including the Warriors players is a good value individually. From Alperen Sengun at +450 to Fred VanVleet at +1200. Jalen Green and Steph Curry are at +650 to make the first basket of the game for their teams. Tomball native Jimmy Butler is a +550. The plus-minus may give you an idea of who is most likely to take the first shot, but from there this is a real toss up, but a good return no matter who you pick.

Moneyline

I know… this is a Rockets website. However, there is no disillusion that the Rockets could lose game one of this series. The Warriors are currently a +100 on the money line so, a $100 bet could double your money and take the sting out of a Rockets home playoff loss… possibly. If your heart won’t let you do it, the Rockets are -118 on the Moneyline, meaning you’d have to bet $118 to make 100. Worth every penny if the Rockets win.

Alperen Sengun Wagers

Alperen to score 25+ points (+250) Sengun to score first basket for Rockets (+450)

Alperen Sengun has only scores 25+ once this season against the Warriors. This one is just a hunch to be honest. What Sengun showed against the Warriors in their last regular season game in San Francisco was that he is not scared, and I anticipate him coming out with his hair on fire and look to establish his presence in his first playoff game.

How it works

1. Click “Claim Now” on the FanDuel home page to claim your No Sweat Token.

2. After clicking “Claim Now” on the Promotion, you will be awarded one No Sweat Token. Your No Sweat Token may be used on a 3+ Leg Same Game Parlay / Same Game Parlay Plus / Parlay wager for any NBA Playoff Game(s) taking place on April 19th – April 20th, 2025.

3. Your wager must have final odds of +400 or longer to qualify. I.E, +450 and +600 would qualify, but -300 or +100 would not.

4. Build your 3+ Leg SGP / SGP+ / Parlay, toggle-on your No-Sweat Token, and place your bet!

5. There is a maximum refund associated with use of your No-Sweat Token. Log in for more details.

6. Refund will be credited within 72 hours of bet settlement.

7. Refund will be issued as non-withdrawable bonus bets that expires 7 days after receipt.

8. No Sweat Token expires at 2:00 AM ET on Monday, April 21st, 2025.

Ineligible Bets:

  • Bets placed using bonus funds, site credit, or bonus bets
  • Odds Boosts
  • Cashed out bets
  • Straight bets

So, if I lived in one of the lovely areas of the country that allowed it, perhaps my three-game same day parlay would look something like…

Alperen Sengun to score first basket (+450)

Jabari Smith Jr. to make 2+ three-pointers (+112)

Amen Thompson to record 10+ rebounds (+180)

Whether using my No Sweat Token, or betting some of my own money not only would I feel confident in my chances, but I imagine watching the game would be that much more exciting! So, head on over to FanDuel’s NBA page and claim your “No Sweat Same Day Parlay Token” and let me know how you enjoyed the experience. Go Rockets!
