AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (35-22) lost 7-6 (BOX SCORE)

Tamarez got the start for Sugar Land but struggled allowing 5 runs over 4.1 innings of work. The Sugar Land offense got on the board in the 2nd inning on a Cabbage solo HR. In the 4th, they got 2 more runs on a Whitcomb 2 run HR. In the 6th inning, Cabbage connected on a 2 run HR to tie the game. Hamilton gave Sugar Land the lead with a solo HR in the 7th. Blubaugh came in for the final few innings and was rolling until he allowed a run in the 9th as Las Vegas tied it. In the 10th, Las Vegas got a run to walk it off for the 7-6 win.

Note: Cabbage has a .960 OPS in Triple-A.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (19-32) won 5-1 (BOX SCORE)

The Hooks got on the board in the first inning getting a run on an error. Ullola got the start and pitched well allowing 1 run over 5 innings of work. The offense got 2 more runs in the 5th on a Price RBI groundout and Espinosa RBI single. In the 6th, Arocho added an RBI single. Price gave the Hooks some insurance with an RBI double in the 9th. The pen was great tossing 4 scoreless innings as they closed out the 5-1 win.

Note: Gomez has a 1.69 ERA this season.

A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (25-26) won 1-0 (BOX SCORE)

Pecko got the start and was great going 4 scoreless innings while racking up 9 strikeouts. The Woodpeckers got on the board in the 3rd inning on a Gomez RBI double. Nezuh relieved Pecko and was great himself tossing 5 scoreless innings allowing 1 hit and striking out 4 as the Woodpeckers won 1-0.

Note: Pecko has a 2.50 ERA this season.
